Grafted In symbol

This sign has been found in pottery and on walls of what is believed to be the meeting rooms in Jerusalem of the second century believers in Yeshua. During archaeological excavation in recent years, this symbol (with variations) has been found repeatedly. Experts now feel that it was a sign of unity between the Jewish believers and their Christian brethren in the rest of the Roman Empire. It has been suggested that it was also a secret symbol of identification in times of persecution
